- Duties
- A lovely family 6900, Lugano are looking for a flexible Live in or Live out nanny to support a single mother with her 2 children 9y b and 10y girl after school and at the weekends.
The right candidate is someone who has experience with this age group, ideally educational qualifications and is an excellent role model, as well as someone who is authoritative and firm. They would ideally be sporty, compassionate and have a fun spirit.
Languages - English, Italian, Portuguese possible
Hours/Days needed
LI - 40 - 45h/week flexible (Mon - Sun - 1 day off a week) plus travel on holidays
LO - 30 - 40h/wk Mon - Fri (afternoons) - 3.45pm - 8/9pm plus Saturday and travel on holidays
Main Tasks
Take care of children after school
Cook dinner
Light household chores vacuuming, tidying etc to support mother
Support mother during the weekend and holidays
The core duties are:
- Supporting son with mild SEN
- Support good behaviour in the home and set good routines
- Implement strategies in the home given by sons therapists
- Be the liaison between the school and therapists regarding son and his overall development
- Implement educational and fun activities which promote critical thinking, problem solving and a curiosity for learning
- Create a nurturing environment for the children to thrive in and incorporate learning through play and support their academic growth
- Arrange and supervise play dates and plan fun age-appropriate activities
Live in accommodation - room with own bathroom
Driver - no, but a bonus
